Will there be any roads closed on Poolesville Day?
Yes. Fisher Avenue/Rte. 107 from Wootton Avenue to Elgin
Road will be closed to the public from 7:00am - 5:00pm.
Cattail Road (perpendicular to the Poolesville Elementary
School) will be closed to the public from 7:00am - 5:00pm.
Is there admission to Poolesville Day?
There is no admission to attend Poolesville Day.
Where do I park and is there a fee to park? Parking is free in the following parking lots:
- CVS Shopping Center off of Wootton Avenue
- Dr. Dillingham Park on Wootton Avenue
- Poolesville High School - Wootton Avenue & West Willard Road
Please DO NOT park on Wootton Avenue or other side streets. Vehicles will be towed.
Is there handicapped parking?
Yes, handicap parking is available in the parking lot next to M&T Bank drive-thru. Signs will be posted. Vehicles without a handicap permit will be towed.
Can I bring my dog or other pets?
Poolesville Day historically attracts 10,000 - 12,000 attendees. It is NOT a safe environment for your pet. If you must bring them with you MUST abide by the Montgomery County leash ordinance. Owners take full responsibility for their pet and MUST clean up after their animals.
Are there seating areas?
Yes, there are two large dining tents located in Whalen Commons Park and picnic tables set in various locations on Fisher Avenue. There are also hay bales to sit on in front of the stage areas.
