19923 Fisher Ave is the oldest building in Poolesville. Log structure built in 1793 by John Poole, Jr. served as a trading post and was the U. S. Post Office from 1810. The Museum Shop features Civil War artifacts, antiques, collectibles, linen, notepaper, pottery, toys, books and local art.
